This album has several strong points. Specter is in fine form, alert, probing, purposeful affluent with ideas, more self-assured than ever before and he's confortable in the role of producer, having supervised the mixing, arranging and song selecting with sound reasoning and great care.

     Tad Robinson, an eight year veteran of the Chicago blues scene, in the Bluebird nest for about a year now, is an uncommonly perceptive songwriter and a striking vocalist, singing his heart out with the eloquent directness found in only the best vocalists - check out, for starter, his slow minor blues on "On The Outside Looking In" and a reinvigoration of "That's How Strong My Love Is".
